During the late 18th century Britannia was a popular subject in England.
She was in many English crafts where images were used.
Britannia is seen embroidered here in satin on the top right.
I included a close up of this (below) so you can see the details.
Use the Map or just the Frame or Flowers.

A Fantasy Castle surrounded with feathery scrolling.
This is a metal case with a Castle or maybe a ancient Cathedral engraving or etching.
The image is downloadable from Smithsonian's Online Collection.
Smithsonian provides nice photos that can be enlarged and used to
make other images from parts of the original images.

Cookie Cutters make great sources for Silhouettes and Outlines to use in making stencils.
Rather than trying to draw around edges you can place them on a scanner or copy machine.
Leave the cover up and place a white cloth draped over them and the scanning area.
(*Remember, look away from light or anywhere your peripheral vision can see the light while it scans*)
When they are scanned there will be some shadows but you should still get a good outline.
Place images under plastic stencil material and trace your pattern for cutting out stencil.

This image compliments
Girl In Blue
This papercut silhouette has so many details.
With an relatively short time investment;
you could easily create about 20 different stencils.
You could use the same silhouette in sections without making any changes.
Or, make individual stencils of the trees, animals, and family.
Stencils made from this image would be great to use for making gelli prints.
