Yes, even the Dogs know it's a special time!
This wonderful little etching features
Four dogs waiting at a table for their Christmas Dinner.
Perhaps their "pet parent" is still cooking the meal.
The bull dog looks like it is resolved to wait patiently.
The pug seems more curious about the artist; or in this case the viewer.
The terrier and its friend are clearly looking at the food they are waiting on!

The girl is carrying a tray of Christmas decorations and
some of them appear to have fallen onto the floor.
The subtitle of this antique artwork is
"Redfern Afternoon Dress"; it was originally in a
fashion magazine published in France in 1914.
